Chapter 106: Vague and cryptic
The next day, after breakfast, Feng Xian plans to leave. His nephew Jian Shao and niece Xue Er run over to hug him, wanting to go with him. Feng Xian refuses, saying they can't go.
Zhou Shi almost laughs out loud seeing Feng Xian lie to the children.
Later that afternoon, after returning from a visit to the village, Vena and her husband find that their nephew and niece have been crying all day because of what happened in the morning. Vena feels guilty for not telling them where they were going.
After dinner, Vena tells Zhou Shi about it. Zhou Shi says that she should go back tomorrow and tell Jian Shao and Xue Er the truth. Vena agrees.
The next morning, after breakfast, Vena takes Jian Shao and Xue Er to school with her. She explains everything to them. They both cry again, but this time because they are happy that their uncle is coming back soon.
After school, the three of them go home together. They have a nice lunch together before it's time for Vena to leave for work at the meat shop.
When she arrives at the meat shop, the owner tells her that there was an incident last night - some thieves tried to steal from the shop but failed because of the security system she installed earlier in the week. The owner thanks her profusely.
Vena spends most of the day working at the meat shop until it's time for lunch. She decides to go back home early today since she has already done so much work during their trip to the village yesterday morning and afternoon before going out again later that evening with Feng Xian for dinner as well as talking with Zhou Shi about what happened after returning from visiting relatives in another village nearby.
After eating lunch at home, Vena goes upstairs into her room where she sees Feng Xian lying on the bed asleep. She gently shakes him awake and asks if he wants some water or anything else before leaving to pick up Jian Shao and Xue Er from school again today since they are going out for dinner tonight as well with Zhou Shi who is still staying there too due to illness recently.
When Vena comes back home later that evening after picking up her nephew and niece, she sees Feng Xian sitting at the table eating something. She asks him what he's doing and why isn't he resting more since it was just yesterday when they returned from their trip earlier in the morning before going out again late afternoon until now coming back here for dinner together with Zhou Shi too due to illness recently.
Feng Xian explains that he doesn't want to sleep anymore today because he has already had enough rest over these past few days during their visit and then later when they came back home last night after having dinner outside town also talking with Zhou Shi about what happened after returning from visiting relatives in another village nearby too due to illness recently.
After eating dinner together, Vena goes upstairs into her room again where she sees Feng Xian lying on the bed asleep once more. She gently shakes him awake and asks if he wants some water or anything else before leaving downstairs to wash up quickly while also preparing herself for tomorrow's work at the meat shop early morning until afternoon before coming back home later that evening after picking up Jian Shao and Xue Er from school again today since they are going out for dinner tonight as well with Zhou Shi who is still staying there too due to illness recently.
After washing up quickly downstairs, Vena goes upstairs into her room again where she sees Feng Xian sitting at the desk working on something. She asks him what he's doing and why isn't he resting more since it was just yesterday when they returned from their trip earlier in the morning before going out again late afternoon until now coming back here for dinner together with Zhou Shi too due to illness recently.
Feng Xian explains that he has been working on something important all day long today and doesn't want to rest anymore tonight because there are still many things left undone yet. He tells Vena not to worry about him though since it's fine even without resting properly sometimes especially when having important work to do which requires focus and concentration too.
After eating dinner together downstairs, they both go upstairs into their room again where Feng Xian lies down on the bed first while waiting for Vena to finish preparing herself for tomorrow morning early before coming back up here later that evening after picking up Jian Shao and Xue Er from school today since they are going out for dinner tonight as well with Zhou Shi who is still staying there too due to illness recently.
When it's finally time for bed, both of them lie down together underneath the covers while feeling tired from everything that happened throughout this day especially after returning from their trip earlier in the morning before going out again late afternoon until now coming back here for dinner together with Zhou Shi too due to illness recently.
Feng Xian tells Vena how happy he feels being able to spend more time with her during these past few days while they were staying at Zhou Shi's house as well as talking about everything that happened after returning from visiting relatives in another village nearby too due to illness recently.
Vena replies by saying she also enjoys spending more quality time with him especially when having dinner outside town last night before coming back here for dinner together again tonight along with Zhou Shi who is still staying there too due to illness recently.
They both fall asleep soon after talking about how much they enjoy being together despite all those challenges faced during this trip yesterday morning until now finally resting peacefully underneath the covers in their room upstairs at home late evening today after having eaten dinner downstairs earlier while also preparing themselves for tomorrow early morning when going out again later that afternoon before coming back here late evening after picking up Jian Shao and Xue Er from school today since they are going out for dinner tonight as well with Zhou Shi who is still staying there too due to illness recently.

Chapter 107
The next morning, after breakfast, Feng Xian prepared to leave. His nephew Jian Shao and niece Xue Er came over, wanting to go with him but were refused.
"You're so mean! Not letting us go!" Jian Shao complained loudly.
Xue Er also pouted angrily, "Yes, yes! You're too mean!"
Zhou Shi almost laughed seeing Feng Xian lie to the children. He turned away before his expression could give him away.
Feng Xian said firmly, "I'm busy today and need to focus. I don't have time for kids underfoot."
Zhou Shi couldn't help but laugh out loud at this blatant excuse. What kind of nonsense was Feng Xian spouting? He clearly just didn't want the kids tagging along.
"Fine fine, you're too busy." Jian Shao grumbled unhappily. "But don't forget to bring us back some toys!"
Xue Er nodded eagerly. "Yes yes! Toys and candy!"
Feng Xian sighed. He'd forgotten how spoiled these little cousins were. "I'll see what I can find in the shops."
He turned to Zhou Shi with an exasperated look. Zhou Shi just grinned unrepentantly.
After saying goodbye, Feng Xian left for the day's work. But before he got far, a familiar figure appeared - Yu Li!
She smiled brightly at him. "Where are you going? I want to come too!"
Feng Xian's heart leapt into his throat. He quickly tried to think of an excuse.
"Oh, um...I have some errands to run..." he said uncertainly.
Yu Li frowned suspiciously. "What kind of errands? You're acting strange..."
Feng Xian's mind raced for a solution. He couldn't let her follow him and find out the truth about his work.
Just then, Zhou Shi appeared from around the corner, saving Feng Xian from having to answer.
"Oh good, I found you!" he said loudly. "I need your help with something urgent."
Feng Xian gave him a grateful look as Yu Li's attention turned to Zhou Shi.
"What is it? What do you need?" she asked curiously.
Zhou Shi smiled charmingly at her. "It's a surprise. Why don't we go inside and I'll explain everything?"
He gestured for Yu Li to join them back in the house, not giving her a chance to protest.
Feng Xian quickly followed after them, breathing a sigh of relief. Zhou Shi had saved his skin this time...but he'd have to think of something better next time if he wanted to keep his double life hidden from Yu Li.

Chapter 108
Virtue Village had long been a peaceful place. But now, with the news of Venerable Lady's departure spreading, the atmosphere was tense.
The villagers gathered in groups to discuss her leaving and Venerable Lady's unexpected death on the same day as their wedding anniversary. Some people even suggested that perhaps Venerable Lady had somehow offended the gods or ancestors during her time at the temple, leading them to take revenge against her family.
However, most villagers were more concerned about Venerable Lady herself. They worried for her safety and wondered how she would survive without any money or connections outside of Virtue Village. Would she have to rely on begging or prostitution? Or would she try to return home in shame?
As the day wore on, it became clear that none of them knew what had happened during Venerable Lady's last moments with Young Master before she left for good. Young Master was nowhere to be found and no one dared ask him directly about it.
Instead, they all sat around waiting for news from outside Virtue Village about whether there had been any sightings or information regarding Venerable Lady's fate. But as night fell and still nothing came through their grapevine, the villagers began to fear that something terrible might have happened to her.
Young Master was nowhere to be found either - he seemed to have disappeared completely after dropping off Venerable Lady at the temple earlier in the day. Some people wondered if he had gone off to find a new wife now that his first marriage ended so abruptly. Others worried that perhaps he felt guilty over what happened and decided it would be best for everyone involved if he just left without saying goodbye.
As more time passed without any word from either Venerable Lady or Young Master, the villagers started to get anxious and angry. They blamed themselves for not being there when she needed them most; they cursed Young Master for abandoning her at such a crucial moment in her life; they raged against fate itself for allowing this tragedy to befall upon their beloved Venerable Lady.
But even as they vented their frustrations, deep down inside each one of these villagers lay an unspoken fear - what if something terrible really had happened to Venerable Lady? What if she was never coming back?
As the sun began to set over Virtue Village that night, a sense of foreboding settled over the area like a thick fog. The villagers could only pray silently in their hearts: please let our beloved Venerable Lady be safe out there somewhere...please let her find her way home again someday soon...

Virtue Village had been quiet all day as the villagers waited for news of Venerable Lady's fate. But now, with night falling over them, they began to worry that something terrible might have happened to her.
The temple where she was staying was nearby, but no one dared go check on her in case they offended Young Master or brought bad luck upon themselves by disturbing his business dealings there. So instead, they all sat around waiting anxiously for any word from outside Virtue Village about whether there had been any sightings or information regarding Venerable Lady's whereabouts.

Chapter 108
Virtue Village had long been a peaceful place, but now the atmosphere was tense with worry about Venerable Lady's fate.
The villagers gathered in groups to discuss what might have happened after she left with Young Master.
As night fell over the village, there was still no word from either Venerable Lady or Young Master about their whereabouts. The villagers could only pray silently in their hearts: please let our beloved Venerable Lady be safe out there somewhere...please let her find her way home again someday soon...

第109章 Chapter 109
The next morning, after breakfast, Feng Xian prepared to leave. His nephew Jian Shao and niece Xue Er came over wanting to go with him but were refused.

The next morning, after breakfast, Feng Xian prepared to leave. His nephew Jian Shao and niece Xue Er came over wanting to go with him but were refused.

Chapter 108
Virtue Village had long been a peaceful place, but now the atmosphere was tense with worry about Venerable Lady's fate.
The villagers gathered in groups to discuss what might have happened after she left with Young Master.
As night fell over the village, there was still no word from either Venerable Lady or Young Master about their whereabouts. The villagers could only pray silently in their hearts: please let our beloved Venerable Lady be safe out there somewhere...please let her find her way home again someday soon...

第110章 Chapter 110
Sure! Here's the rewritten chapter 110 in natural English:
The next day, Venerable Lady and Little Master were about to go out. Venerable Lady was going to the temple, while Little Master was going to visit his friend.
Venerable Lady said goodbye to her family before leaving for the temple. She felt a pang of worry about leaving them alone, but she trusted that they would be safe without her there.
Little Master saw her off at the door and waved as she left. He then went into their room to pack his things.
Venerable Lady arrived at the temple and was surprised to find it empty. Usually, people were coming and going all day long, seeking help or guidance from the gods. But today, there was no one else around except for a few of the temple's staff.
She walked inside and saw that the main hall had been decorated with flowers and candles, indicating an important ceremony would be taking place soon. Venerable Lady wandered through the temple, admiring its beauty.
Suddenly, she heard voices coming from behind her. Turning around, she found herself face-to-face with Young Master!
"Little Master! What are you doing here?" Venerable Lady asked in surprise.
"I was worried about you." Little Master replied softly. "I wanted to make sure you were okay."
Venerable Lady's heart warmed at his words. She smiled and patted him on the head affectionately.
"You're such a good boy," she said warmly. "But I'm fine, really. You don't need to worry about me."
Little Master nodded, but he still looked concerned. Venerable Lady knew he cared deeply for her.
They walked back outside together, and Little Master helped carry some of the things Venerable Lady had brought with her from the market.
On their way home, they met a few more people who were also going to visit the temple. Venerable Lady greeted them politely and introduced Little Master.
The villagers were curious about this boy who was so close to Venerable Lady. They asked if he was her family member or friend. Little Master smiled shyly but didn't say much.
When they arrived back at home, it was already evening. The family gathered around the dinner table for a meal together.
Venerable Lady served the food and sat down next to Little Master. She asked him how his day went and if he had learned anything new at school.
Little Master told her about his day, mentioning that they were going over the basics of writing calligraphy scripts tomorrow in class. He hoped Venerable Lady could help him practice later tonight.
After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms for the night. Venerable Lady tucked Little Master into bed and kissed his forehead goodnight before heading off herself to get ready for bed.
As she lay there alone in her room, Venerable Lady thought about how much Little Master had grown up over these past few weeks. She felt grateful for having him in her life, even if it was only temporary.
The next morning arrived quickly, and Venerable Lady woke up early to start preparing breakfast for the family. She heard Little Master stirring in his room nearby, so she called out asking if he wanted any special food today.
"Anything is fine!" Little Master replied cheerfully from behind his closed door. "I'm not picky!"
Venerable Lady smiled at his response before going back to cooking. As the smell of fresh rice and vegetables filled the kitchen, Little Master emerged from his room dressed for school.
He joined Venerable Lady in the kitchen for breakfast, eating heartily as usual. After finishing their meal, they headed out together for the day ahead - Little Master off to school while Venerable Lady went about her daily errands around town.
As she walked down the street alone once again, Venerable Lady couldn't help but miss Little Master already. She hoped he was having a good day at school without any problems or accidents happening.
The days passed by quickly as always did in this small village community where everyone knew each other well. Soon it would be time for them to part ways soon; until then, Venerable Lady cherished every moment they had together.
第111章 Chapter 111
Venerable Lady heard the news of Vuteng's departure and was a bit worried. However, when Vuteng returned, she saw that he had no injuries or problems from his journey. She praised him for his bravery and hard work.
The next day, Little Master woke up early to practice calligraphy scripts with Vuteng. He struggled at first but gradually improved. Later that afternoon, Vuteng went out again, this time to the local temple to offer incense.
At the temple, Vuteng met an old monk who praised her for her dedication and offered to teach her more about the art of calligraphy. She accepted his offer and spent several days learning from him.
After a week of training at the temple, Vuteng returned home to find Little Master practicing his calligraphy alone in their room. He had made significant progress during her absence. Impressed by his efforts, Vuteng praised him warmly.
That night, Little Master's father came home late after a long day of work. Seeing his son practicing calligraphy, he was filled with pride and joy. He thanked Vuteng for guiding his son so well in her absence.
The next morning, Little Master's mother woke up early to prepare breakfast for the family. She found Vuteng already awake, humming happily as she chopped vegetables. The two of them chatted cheerfully while working together in the kitchen.
After breakfast, Little Master and Vuteng headed out to the market to sell their calligraphy. They arrived at the bustling marketplace and set up a small stall with their work. Within minutes, customers began flocking to their booth, drawn by the beautiful scripts.
Throughout the day, they sold many pieces of calligraphy. By sunset, all of their work had been sold out. Vuteng returned home satisfied with a successful day's earnings while Little Master proudly displayed his latest script.
That evening, Little Master's father came home and heard about his son's accomplishments at the market. He praised Little Master for his hard work and dedication to learning calligraphy from Vuteng.
As Little Master grew older, he continued to practice his calligraphy under Vuteng's guidance. His skills improved steadily over time until finally he became known throughout the region as a master of this art form.
And so life went on in their small village - filled with love, laughter and the pursuit of knowledge through the medium of calligraphy.

The sun was just beginning to rise above the treetops when Vuteng finally decided it was time to wake up. She had been keeping watch all night, making sure no one came near the mountain hideout of the bandits.
As she stretched out her limbs and got ready to start another day of training, Vuteng couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at having completed her mission with flying colors. The bandit camp was now nothing more than a pile of rubble, all thanks to her clever plan and quick thinking during the chaos.
But she knew that her work wasn't done yet - there were still several loose ends she needed to tie up before heading back down the mountain. Vuteng decided not to go through the front gate this time; instead, she chose a path along one of the high ridges leading away from the camp. It wouldn't be easy for anyone else coming after her unless they knew exactly where to look.
The journey back down was uneventful. Vuteng took extra care in avoiding any potential ambush points or hidden enemies lurking along the way, using all of her senses to remain vigilant and aware of everything around her at all times.
When she finally reached the foot of the mountain, Vuteng found herself face-to-face with one of the bandit leaders who had been lying in wait for her return. They stared at each other coldly for a moment before he spoke up first: "You think you're pretty clever, don't you? But we'll see how long that lasts when we get our hands on you."
Vuteng scoffed quietly to herself - this was exactly what she had been hoping would happen. She needed someone who could lead her back to their main headquarters so she could take them all down at once.
The bandit leader led Vuteng up a winding path through the dense forest until they arrived at an old abandoned temple hidden deep in the woods. There, dozens of men were gathered around waiting for his return - some armed with swords and spears while others carried bows or crossbows ready to shoot her down if she tried anything funny.
Vuteng knew this was her moment; it was now or never if she wanted to take them all out without giving away any clues about who sent her here in the first place. She drew herself up tall and let loose with an icy glare at everyone present: "I am Vuteng, official assassin sent by the Emperor himself! Who among you will be the first to face my wrath?"
The bandits exchanged confused looks amongst themselves before finally someone stepped forward - a huge brute of a man wielding what looked like two massive axes strapped onto his back. He sneered at her dismissively: "Hahaha! You think you can take me on? I'll show you how we deal with scum like you around here!"
Vuteng raised an eyebrow ever so slightly as she reached for the dagger hidden beneath her robe. She had been expecting this reaction from them; these kinds of thugs were always eager to prove themselves in front of their fellow bandits.
As Vuteng began walking towards him slowly, she could hear the crunching sound of leaves and twigs being crushed under her feet as if she was walking on broken glass. The air around them seemed to grow heavier with each step until it felt like someone had cast some sort of spell over this entire area.
The brute charged at Vuteng furiously, brandishing his axes high above his head in a menacing display of force. But before he could bring those weapons down on her, Vuteng was already dodging out of the way by rolling sideways along the ground. The momentum carried her right into his legs which caused him to stumble forward awkwardly.
While he was off-balance trying not to fall over completely, Vuteng used that opportunity to jump up from behind him and place both hands on either side of his head before giving it a violent twist towards one direction...
The sound of breaking bones echoed throughout the clearing as the brute collapsed onto the ground dead. The rest of the bandits watched in stunned silence; they couldn't believe what had just happened right in front of their very eyes.
Vuteng turned back around to face them coldly: "Who else wants a taste?"

Vuteng finally made her way down the mountain, exhausted and dirty from two days without sleep. The sun was just rising over the trees as she neared the foot of the mountain.
As soon as she stepped out of the treeline, Vuteng saw a group of men approaching from the distance - it was the bandit leader who had captured her earlier! She quickly hid behind a tree trunk and observed them cautiously.
The bandits seemed to be on high alert, constantly scanning their surroundings. They were armed with an assortment of weapons: swords, spears, bows, and crossbows at the ready.
Vuteng knew she couldn't take them all on alone, not after two days without rest. She needed a plan. Just as she was trying to think of something, the bandits suddenly turned towards her direction!
Vuteng's heart pounded in her chest - had they spotted her? No time to waste! She dashed out from behind the tree and sprinted back up the mountain path, hoping to lose them in the dense forest.
The bandits gave chase immediately, their shouts echoing through the trees as they pursued her relentlessly. Vuteng ran as fast as she could, ducking between trees and leaping over logs. The forest was her ally; she knew these woods like the back of her hand.
After a long chase, Vuteng managed to outrun them, disappearing into the thick underbrush. She collapsed against a tree trunk, panting heavily with sweat pouring down her face. That had been too close!
Just as she caught her breath, Vuteng heard rustling nearby. Instinctively, she reached for her dagger only to realize it was gone - must have fallen out during the chase.
Cautiously peeking through the bushes, Vuteng saw a figure approaching. It was the bandit leader! He had followed her into the woods alone.
Vuteng's mind raced as she searched for an escape route or weapon. She couldn't let him capture her again! Just then, she spotted a large rock nearby...

Vuteng watched as the bandit leader approached her hiding spot, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the underbrush intently. She held her breath, hoping he hadn't spotted her yet. The bandits had searched this area before so there shouldn't be any tracks leading to this spot...
Just as the bandit leader was about to step into view, Vuteng sprang out from behind a tree and grabbed him by the collar, yanking him off balance. Before he could react, she smashed his face into a nearby boulder with all her strength.
The bandit crumpled to the ground unconscious, blood pouring from his nose and mouth. Vuteng wasted no time in binding his hands tightly behind his back with some vine she found lying around. Then she dragged him back towards the abandoned temple where she had been held captive before.
On the way there, Vuteng spotted more bandits patrolling the area. She quickly hid her captive behind a tree and observed them silently until they passed by. These men were clearly on high alert after losing so many of their own yesterday.
Finally reaching the temple entrance, Vuteng hauled the still-unconscious bandit leader inside. No one was there to greet her this time; apparently everyone had either fled or been killed off during the earlier battle. The temple felt eerie and empty now.
Vuteng tossed her captive roughly onto a pile of rags in the corner of what used to be his room. She tied him securely to a pillar, making sure he couldn't escape even if he woke up. Then she went to find something to use as a weapon - just in case any more bandits showed up.
After rummaging around for a bit, Vuteng found an old rusty sword lying on the floor. She picked it up and tested its balance; not bad! This would do nicely against those filthy bandits who dared threaten her life!
Vuteng returned to the main hall where she had been held captive before. Sitting cross-legged in front of the bandit leader's tied-up form, she said coldly: "You're lucky I don't kill you on the spot for what you tried to do to me yesterday."
The bandit leader slowly opened his eyes and glared at her hatefully as he struggled against the ropes binding him tightly. Blood trickled from his broken nose onto his shirt.
Vuteng continued, "I have a few questions for you. Answer them truthfully if you want to live."
"Fuck you!" the bandit leader spat out defiantly through bloody teeth.
Vuteng smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Feisty one aren't we?" She stood up and started circling him slowly like a predator cornering its prey. "Very well then, let's see how long your attitude lasts."

Chapter 114 source:

Chapter 116
Here is the rewritten chapter:
The news of Vuteng's escapade had spread throughout the entire city, and soon reached the capital. The Emperor was furious when he heard that one of his assassins had been captured by bandits.
"Send someone to investigate this matter immediately!" he ordered loudly.
The Empress Dowager, who sat beside him, frowned slightly but said nothing. She simply looked at Vuteng's empty seat with a complicated expression in her eyes.
The investigation quickly revealed the truth: Vuteng had indeed been captured by bandits. The Emperor was so angry that he nearly crushed the memorial tablet in his hand when he saw it.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" he roared, slamming his fist on the table.
The officials all trembled and knelt down, begging for mercy.
After a long while, the Emperor finally calmed down. He looked at Vuteng's empty seat again, then ordered, "Send someone to bring Vuteng back. I want her to return safely."
"Yes, Your Majesty!" The officials chorused together.
The news of this incident spread even further, reaching the ears of Vuteng's friends and relatives in the capital. They were all worried sick about her safety.
However, after a few days, the officials returned with disappointing news: they couldn't find any trace of Vuteng at all! It was as if she had disappeared into thin air!
The Emperor became even angrier than before, his face flushed red with fury. He shouted and cursed nonstop, scaring everyone around him.
But he still didn't give up hope. He ordered the officials to continue searching for Vuteng until they found her or died trying.
The days passed by, but there was no news of Vuteng's whereabouts. The Emperor's anger gradually subsided, replaced by deep worry and regret. He sat alone in his study every night, staring blankly at the wall.
One evening, just as he was about to go to bed, a eunuch suddenly rushed into the room, his face pale with fear.
"Your Majesty! We found Vuteng!" he exclaimed breathlessly.
The Emperor quickly sat up straight and looked at him intently. "Where is she?" he demanded urgently.
"The officials have been searching for days," the eunuch replied, "and finally tracked her down in a small village outside the capital..."
The Emperor jumped to his feet and hurried out of the room without even putting on his outer robe. He rushed to the village as fast as possible.
When he arrived at the village, it was already nighttime. The streets were quiet and dark, with only a few dim lanterns flickering here and there.
He asked around for directions to Vuteng's location and finally reached her house. Without knocking or announcing himself, he pushed open the door and stormed inside.
Vuteng stood in front of him, looking as surprised as he was angry. Her eyes widened when she saw him standing there.
"Your Majesty?" she said in disbelief.
The Emperor glared at her for a long moment before speaking. "What are you doing here? Why didn't you tell me you were captured by those bandits?"
Vuteng bowed her head. "I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I was afraid they would find out that I work for you and use it against you."
The Emperor sighed deeply. He walked over to Vuteng and gently lifted her chin with his hand.
"Don't worry about what others may think or do," he said softly. "You are safe now, that's all that matters."
Vuteng felt a lump in her throat as tears welled up in her eyes. She couldn't believe the Emperor had come all this way just to see her.
"But how did you know I was here?" she asked curiously after composing herself.
"I have my ways," the Emperor replied mysteriously with a small smile on his lips.
He then turned around and left without another word, leaving Vuteng standing alone in the room.
As he walked out of the village, he thought to himself: No matter what happens, I will always protect those who work for me. Vuteng has proven herself worthy of my trust and loyalty; she is an asset to the empire that cannot be replaced by anyone else!
第117章 Chapter 117
**Chapter 117: The Stone Delivery**
傅闻宵 accompanied Vuteng to the butcher shop as usual. As they were about to leave, they saw a group of strongmen carrying several large boards full of stones into the alley.
The strongmen had rough appearances and looked like trouble makers. The alley residents all frowned at them in disapproval, but seeing their fearsome appearance, no one dared speak up against them.
Vuteng saw the strongmen carrying the boards with stones, and smiled slightly. She walked up to the first one carrying a board of large stones, and with one foot kick, broke it into pieces with a loud bang!
The alley residents were all stunned speechless! They stared at Vuteng in disbelief as she casually picked up a piece of stone from the ground, crushed it into powder between her hands, then opened them to show everyone.
"See? This is flower fertilizer."
Everyone was dumbfounded. Vuteng smiled and asked another resident who looked like an academic, "I heard that stone contains certain mineral nutrients. Is that correct?"
The academic's face turned pale as he wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, "Yes... yes!"
Vuteng nodded and walked back to her house with the strongmen carrying stones. She didn't look back at all.
The alley residents watched Vuteng leave in shock.
One of them said, "I heard she's an assassin! But I never thought..."
Another one added, "That woman is so terrifying!"
"Don't say such things!" a third person quickly interjected, looking around to make sure no one else was listening. "The Emperor has ordered the arrest of all assassins! If anyone finds out Vuteng is here, they'll be in big trouble."
"But... but if she's an assassin..." someone hesitated.
"Don't you understand?" The third person glared at him. "You're not supposed to know about such things! Keep this a secret!"
"Yes, yes! I won't say anything!" the person quickly agreed.
The alley residents all nodded in agreement and dispersed quietly.

第118章 Chapter 118
BODY: Vuteng was surprised when she heard that the old lady who invited her to the city was actually the wife of a high-ranking official. She had not expected such an invitation from someone so important.
However, since the old lady seemed very friendly and kind, Vuteng decided it would be best to accept her invitation and go with her.
The day before they were due to depart, Vuteng went to meet with the old lady at her residence in town. She arrived early in the morning and was greeted warmly by the old lady's servants who ushered her inside.
After some small talk about their journey ahead, the old lady asked if there was anything else she needed before they set off later that day. Vuteng politely refused any further hospitality but thanked her graciously for her generosity nonetheless.
Before long it came time for them to depart; two carriages were waiting outside which would take them all safely into the city where Vuteng would stay with family friends until exam day arrived next week. She hugged each member of the household goodbye before climbing into one of the carriages alongside the old lady and some servants.
As they rode along through forests lined with towering trees, Vuteng looked out at the scenery passing by, thinking about what lay ahead for herself now that she was finally on her way to sit this important exam.
第119章 Chapter 119
BODY: The next morning, Vuteng woke up feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. She stretched her limbs and got out of bed, ready to start the day.
The bandits' headquarters were in an abandoned temple deep within the forest. Vuteng knew she had to be extra careful navigating this unfamiliar territory. As an assassin sent by the emperor, it was up to her alone to take down these criminals. She couldn't afford any mistakes or slip-ups that could jeopardize the mission.
Vuteng dressed quickly and quietly in her black assassins' garb, securing her weapons. Then she slipped out of the room and made her way through the temple's winding halls, avoiding the sleeping bandits along the way.
The temple was eerily silent as Vuteng crept towards the main courtyard where their leader slept. She had to get close enough to strike before he woke up. The courtyard was empty except for a few guards posted outside the main hall. They were no match for her speed and skill.
With a swift motion, Vuteng disabled them one by one without alerting anyone inside. Then she slipped past their bodies into the hall where the leader slept on an ornate bed.
Vuteng crept closer until she was right beside him. She raised her dagger, ready to strike when suddenly he woke up with a start! Before he could react, Vuteng plunged her blade deep into his heart without hesitation or mercy!
The leader gasped in shock as blood gushed from the fatal wound. His eyes widened in fear and disbelief before slowly closing forever.
Vuteng wasted no time celebrating this small victory; she knew more bandits would come running any second now! She quickly scanned her surroundings for escape routes when a loud commotion erupted outside!
It was the other bandits who had been awakened by their leader's dying cries! They came charging into the courtyard, weapons drawn, ready to fight whoever had dared attack them so brazenly!
Vuteng knew she couldn't let them raise an alarm or call for reinforcements from nearby villages. She had to end this now before word reached the emperor and compromised her mission.
She leaped off the bed towards the nearest bandit, who was still trying to process what he saw. But Vuteng's dagger pierced his throat before he could even react!
The other bandits were stunned at first but soon recovered from their shock as they realized it was one person against many. They charged toward her with everything they had!
第120章 Chapter 120
**Output:**

Chapter 121
“Oh, you know that the only way to get a man's attention is to make him cry out loud. He's gonna do it right now. Grab his arm and pull him in close. Give me your cock. I'm gonna fuck you so hard. Let me scream while I pound on his ass. Fucking up and down, he'll be all over this sexy little body of yours.”

Chapter 122: Translated with www.freeTranslation.com
The carriage clattered down the street, heading for a secluded courtyard in the city.
Upon arrival at the courtyard entrance, the carriage finally came to a stop.
The three men squeezed onto the driver's seat exchanged glances, then the driver trembled and said to the people inside: "The courtyard is here."
Vulgarity lifted the curtain and stuck her head out for a look, saying: "Go in."
The three men did not dare to refuse her. The driver quickly jumped down from the driver's seat and knocked on the door.
Soon the courtyard door was opened.
The doorman obviously recognized the driver, without asking any questions, directly let the carriage in.
As the carriage drove in, the doorman curiously looked at the other two men sitting on the driver's seat. He saw that their faces were very unsightly and their posture was somewhat abnormal. It seemed as if they were enduring an immense pain.
However, the doorman also didn't think much about it. These people were all working for the seventh young master, suffering a little injury occasionally was normal.
The carriage stopped in the courtyard.
At this time someone came to meet him, who was the steward of this courtyard.
He had been notified by someone from the seventh young master's side earlier that the seventh young master saw an attractive girl in the city and had already sent people to "fetch" her over. Let them first arrange for her.
The steward was used to doing such things. Every time the seventh young master saw a girl he liked, she would always be sent here first for someone else to educate.
Of course, there were more times when it was directly handled by the seventh young master himself.
Because the seventh young master himself preferred to personally "educate" these girls.
The steward brought people over, standing in front of the carriage, waiting for the person inside to come down.
When he saw the three men squeezed onto the driver's seat, he couldn't help but be stunned. Before he could think any further, the three men jumped off the driver's seat without saying a word and simply stared at the carriage.
The steward was confused by this. Why did they not bring her over?
If she had been brought over, she should have directly been taken out of the carriage by now.
The steward wondered if it was because they hadn't caught anyone?
He saw the three men standing there with a trembling expression and was at a loss for words. He thought that those people who were sent to "fetch" her must not be here.
If not, why didn't they take care of this matter? They were still sitting on the driver's seat without moving.
The steward's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he asked: "What happened?"
Before he could finish speaking, a figure suddenly jumped down from the carriage.
When she saw that man, the steward couldn't help but be surprised. He didn't expect her to come out of the carriage so suddenly.
He was about to speak when he saw that woman walking towards him and stopped talking. The three men's legs immediately went soft as they knelt on the ground in fear.
The steward watched this scene dumbfounded, wondering what happened? Why were these people suddenly behaving like this?
He couldn't help but swallow nervously. He looked at the woman who was standing in front of him with a serious expression and asked: "What's going on?"
Vulgarity replied in a very calm voice: "I'm here to see your seventh young master."
The steward was stunned for a moment, looking at her strangely. This was the first time he had seen a girl who was not panicked after being caught, but rather directly asked about the seventh young master.
Although he felt that this behavior was somewhat strange, the steward still didn't think much of it and smiled: "Miss wants to see the seventh young master? Don't worry, the seventh young master will come here later."
At this time, two maids came over from behind the steward, reaching out their hands wanting to grab Vulgarity's arms.
The steward saw them hesitating and was about to speak when Vulture said in a serious tone: "Lead me."
The two maids were stunned for a moment before they could react. They looked at each other helplessly, not knowing what to do next.
At this time, the steward frowned slightly, feeling that something was wrong with the situation in front of him. He didn't know whether he should bring her inside or not. If it was someone else, they would have been brought down long ago.
"Let's go." The steward said after a while and led Vulgarity into the inner courtyard.
Inside the inner courtyard, everything was very quiet, there were no sounds except for the sound of insects chirping.
When they arrived at an empty room in the inner courtyard, Vulgarity stopped and asked: "Is this where you live?"
The steward nodded his head, not daring to speak. He knew that if he said something wrong, he would be killed by this woman. He didn't know how she could have such a great power.
"Go back first." Vulgarity said calmly, then turned around and left the inner courtyard alone.
When Vulgarity came out of the inner courtyard again, it was already dark outside.
At this time, there were no sounds except for the sound of insects chirping. She walked towards the front courtyard with a serious expression on her face.
As soon as she entered the front courtyard, she saw the three men sitting on the driver's seat.
They saw her coming back and immediately stood up, bowing their heads in fear: "Vulgarity!"
She didn't answer them, but simply said: "Let's go."
The three men nodded their heads without hesitation. They knew that if they didn't follow this woman, they would definitely be killed by her.
When the carriage arrived at the city entrance, it was already late at night.
It was dark outside and there were no other people around. The three men saw Vulgarity jump down from the driver's seat and looked at each other in confusion: "What is she doing?"
Before they could react, Vulture had already disappeared into the darkness of the night.
**
The next morning, Vulgarity woke up early and went to the front courtyard to eat breakfast.
There was no one else inside the front courtyard except for her. She walked over to the dining table and saw a plate of steamed buns on it.
Vulgarity ate the steamed bun with gusto before leaving the house.
When she arrived at the school entrance, there were already many students standing outside waiting for the teacher to arrive.
She found an empty seat in the corner of the classroom and sat down. The students around her didn't pay any attention to her as they continued their conversations.
After a while, the teacher came into the classroom with a serious expression on his face: "Good morning, everyone."
The students replied politely: "Good morning, teacher!"
Then the teacher said: "Now let's begin today's lesson. Today we will learn about the history of this country."
The students listened attentively to the teacher's lecture. Vulgarity also listened carefully but she was not interested in what he said. She felt bored and wanted to go out for a walk.
When the bell rang, Vulgarity stood up and left the classroom with a serious expression on her face: "I'm going out for a while."
The students around her didn't say anything as they watched Vulture leave the classroom.
Vulgarity walked outside the school gate with a serious expression on her face. She saw the three men sitting in a carriage waiting for her and was surprised by this scene: "Why are you here?"
"It's the seventh young master who asked us to come." The driver said while looking at her seriously, "We don't know why he wants to see you."
Vulgarity nodded her head without hesitation. She knew that if she didn't go see him now, it would be too late.
"Let's go then." Vulgarity said calmly and jumped onto the carriage.
When they arrived in front of a large mansion, Vulture got off the carriage with a serious expression on her face: "Is this where your seventh young master lives?"
"Yes," The driver replied with a serious tone. "The seventh young master is inside."
Vulgarity nodded her head without hesitation and went into the mansion.
When Vulgarity arrived at the front door of the mansion, she saw two large stone lions standing on both sides of the doorstep. She walked up to one of them and stroked its back with a serious expression on her face: "You are quite handsome."
At this time, the doorkeeper came out from behind the doorstep to block Vulgarity's way.
When he saw Vulture stroking the stone lion, his face turned pale with fear. He didn't know what kind of person she was or why she had come here.
"Who are you?" The doorkeeper asked in a serious tone while looking at her suspiciously: "How did you get inside?"
Vulgarity replied calmly: "I'm here to see your seventh young master."
The doorkeeper's face turned pale with fear. He didn't know how this woman knew about the seventh young master or why she had come here.
"Please wait a moment." The doorkeeper said while looking at Vulture seriously, then closed the door and left.
Vulgarity stood outside the mansion waiting for him to return.
After a long time, the doorkeeper finally came back with an embarrassed expression on his face: "Sorry, I can't let you in. The seventh young master is not here."
Vulgarity frowned slightly, feeling that something was wrong with this situation. She didn't know why he wouldn't let her inside.
"Where is your seventh young master?" Vulgarity asked seriously while looking at him.

第123章 Chapter 123
Chapter 123: The Truth Revealed
Kang Jun's head was already swollen, but now that he saw the woman who had attacked him and the steward, his rage surged even higher. "You're finished!"
However, the moment he got up from the bed, a sharp pain shot through his chest. He gritted his teeth, glaring hatefully at Vulture. "Bitch! You'll pay for this!"
"Oh? I've already paid." Vulgarity smiled coldly. "Now it's your turn."
Kang Jun was stunned, not understanding what she meant.
But then he saw her raise a hand and point at the steward. The next moment, the steward collapsed on the ground with blood spurting out of his chest.
"What... what did you do to him?" Kang Jun stammered in disbelief.
He had seen many people die before, but none of them were as horrifying as this scene. In an instant, Vulture had killed a man without any hesitation or guilt.
"You'll find out soon enough." Vulgarity chuckled darkly.
Kang Jun's face turned pale with fear. He had never seen anyone with such terrifying powers before. If she could kill a grown man so easily, what would happen to him?
He backed away from her slowly, his heart pounding in his chest. "Please... don't hurt me..."
Vulgarity laughed cruelly. "Why not? You've harmed many women already."
Kang Jun swallowed hard, trying to think of an excuse. "They were just whores! I didn't mean any harm!"
"Just whores?" Vulgarity raised an eyebrow. "Even they deserve better than you."
Kang Jun's eyes widened in realization. This woman wasn't going to let him go so easily. She was going to make him suffer for all his sins.
He started to beg for mercy again, but Vulture just waved her hand dismissively. "Shut up and get lost. I don't want to hear your pathetic excuses."
Kang Jun didn't dare argue with her anymore. He quickly left the room, hoping that this nightmare would be over soon.
But little did he know, his worst nightmares were about to begin...
**
The next morning, Kang Jun woke up in a cold sweat. His body was still sore from yesterday's beating and his head felt like it was splitting open.
He slowly sat up on the bed, groaning at the pain. Then he noticed something strange - the steward who usually came to serve him breakfast wasn't here today.
"Where is that useless servant?" Kang Jun grumbled angrily under his breath.
Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Young Master? Are you awake?"
It was the voice of another servant named Lin.
"Yes! Come in!" Kang Jun replied irritably.
Lin opened the door and came inside with a tray containing some food and medicine. He saw Kang Jun's swollen face and gasped in shock. "Young Master, what happened to you last night?"
Kang Jun glared at him coldly. "None of your business! Just bring me my breakfast!"
"Y-yes sir!" Lin stammered nervously.
He hurriedly set up the food on a table near Kang Jun's bed and backed away quickly. He didn't want to be stuck in this room alone with his master for too long, especially not after seeing how battered he looked.
After eating some food, Kang Jun drank the medicine that Lin had brought him. It helped ease the pain slightly but did nothing about the throbbing headache.
As he lay back down on the bed, Kang Jun tried to recall what happened last night with Vulture. He remembered being attacked by her first before passing out from pain later on...
But how could a woman be so strong? And why didn't anyone come to help him when she was beating him up?
Kang Jun couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he thought about it.
**
Meanwhile, Vulture was having breakfast with the steward in the kitchen. The steward had bandages wrapped around his chest where Vulgarity had stabbed him last night.
"Thank you for saving my life yesterday," the steward said gratefully to her as they ate their meal together. "I don't know what I would have done without your help."
"No problem at all." Vulgarity smiled warmly. "It's only right that we look out for each other here in the mansion."
The steward nodded his head in agreement before asking something else curiously, "By the way... how did you know Kang Jun was planning to attack me yesterday? Did someone tell you?"
"Nope!" Vulgarity laughed. "I just happened to be walking by when I saw him sneaking up on your room with a knife."
The steward frowned slightly, feeling confused. "But why would he do that? He knows better than trying anything funny here..."
Vulgarity shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "Who cares about his reasons? The important thing is that we stopped him before something bad happened!"
The steward chuckled along with her before finishing up their meal together.
After breakfast, Vulgarity returned to the room she shared with Heng Xing. She found Heng Xing sitting at a desk and working on some paperwork for Kang Jun's business dealings.
"Good morning!" Vulgarity greeted him cheerfully as she walked over to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh, hello darling!" Heng Xing replied affectionately before turning his attention back towards his work again. "How was breakfast with the steward?"
"It was great! He made some delicious food this morning." Vulgarity sat down next to him and looked over at what he was doing curiously. "What are you working on now? Anything interesting?"
Heng Xing sighed deeply, feeling frustrated as he answered her question. "Just more of the same boring stuff from Kang Jun's company. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up."
Vulgarity placed a comforting hand on Heng Xing's shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry about it too much! You'll get through this eventually and then we can go back home together soon."
Heng Xing smiled weakly at her words, feeling grateful for having someone like Vulture supporting him during these trying times.
"I guess you're right... We'll manage somehow." He finished up his work before closing the books and turning towards Vulgarity again. "So what do you want to do today? We don't have any more errands or meetings scheduled until later this afternoon."
Vulgarity thought for a moment before answering him excitedly, "Why don't we go out for lunch somewhere nice? My treat!"
Heng Xing laughed happily at her suggestion. "Sounds perfect! I know just the place - it's this new restaurant downtown that everyone has been talking about lately."
**
The two of them arrived at the restaurant shortly after leaving the mansion. They were greeted by a friendly hostess who led them to their table.
"This place looks amazing!" Vulgarity exclaimed as she looked around the dining area in awe.
There were elegant chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, fine artworks on display along the walls, and expensive-looking furniture scattered throughout the room.
As they sat down, Heng Xing ordered some wine for them before starting to browse through the menu. "They have quite a variety here - I wonder what we should get..."
Vulgarity didn't pay much attention to him though as she kept looking around curiously instead. She spotted another couple seated nearby who seemed familiar somehow...
"Hey, isn't that the lady from yesterday?" Vulgarity asked Heng Xing quietly while pointing discreetly at them.
Heng Xing looked over and recognized her too. "Yes! It's the one you saved at the brothel!"
Vulgarity waved at her enthusiastically until she noticed them. The woman smiled back warmly before standing up from their table to come over towards them.
"Hello again!" The woman greeted Vulgarity happily as she reached their table. "It's so nice to see you here too! Thank you for saving me yesterday!"
Vulgarity laughed politely in return, feeling happy that the lady remembered her kindness. "No problem at all ma'am! I'm glad I could help."
The woman introduced herself as Xing Yu before asking if they wanted to join them for lunch. Vulgarity declined graciously though and promised to visit her again sometime soon.
After lunch ended, Vulgarity paid their bill before leaving with Heng Xing hand-in-hand through the city streets together. They walked slowly until they reached a park nearby where they sat down on a bench near some flowers.
"This is such a beautiful day," Vulgarity said softly as she leaned against Heng Xing's shoulder contentedly. "I'm so happy to be spending it with you."
Heng Xing smiled warmly while wrapping his arm around Vulture protectively, enjoying this peaceful moment together. "Me too darling... Me too."
第124章 Chapter 124
Chapter 124: The Aftermath
The news of the seventh young master's fate quickly spread throughout the mansion. Everyone was shocked by his tragic end, and even those who had resented him before now felt a strange sense of sympathy.
The steward hurried to inform the second young master what had happened. "Young Master, you must be careful! The seventh young master is dead."
"What?!" The second young master's eyes widened in shock. "How did it happen?"
"It seems he was beaten by someone. His body was found outside the mansion." The steward lowered his voice. "The seventh young master was...very badly injured before he died."
The second young master fell silent for a moment, digesting this news. Then he looked up sharply. "Who would do such a thing to him?"
The steward shrugged uncertainly. "We don't know yet. But the fourth young master is asking around, trying to find out more information."
"Hmph!" The second young master sneered. "I bet that little bastard did it! He's always been jealous of the seventh young master's status."
The steward nodded slowly. "It's possible...but we should wait for the fourth young master's investigation results before jumping to conclusions."
**
Meanwhile, in her room, the third young lady was crying hysterically over the news of the seventh young master's death. Her maidservants tried to comfort her but she pushed them away.
"NO! It can't be true! I don't believe it!" she wailed. "Why would they do this to him? He didn't deserve to die like that!"
Her mother came in and hugged her, trying to soothe her sobs. "There, there...shhhh, you must be strong now."
"But Mother, who will take care of me?" the third young lady cried. "The seventh young master is gone! I'm all alone again!"
"Hush child!" Her mother scolded gently. "You are not alone! You have your family and servants to look after you."
"But...but..." The third young lady's voice cracked as she looked up at her mother with tears streaming down her face. "I loved him so much..."
Her mother sighed heavily and held her closer. "I know, I know... But you must be strong for your unborn child now."
**
Later that day, the fourth young master returned from his investigation. He looked grim as he walked into the study where the second young master was waiting.
"What did you find out?" The second young master asked eagerly.
The fourth young master shook his head sadly. "It seems the seventh young master was killed by a prostitute."
"What?!" The second young master exclaimed in shock.
"She claims she didn't mean to kill him, but things got out of hand." The fourth young master sighed deeply. "I think...she really liked him, and when he tried to leave..."
The second young master stared at him, mouth agape. Then he burst into laughter. "Hahaha! What a fucking way to die!"
The fourth young master glared at him coldly. "This is no laughing matter! The seventh young master was our brother!"
"Oh please!" The second young master scoffed. "He wasn't my real brother, just some half-breed from Father's whores."
The fourth young master looked away in disgust. "You really are a piece of work..."
**
In the inner courtyard, Vulture was chatting with Heng Xing when they heard the news about the seventh young master's death.
"Oh no!" Vulture gasped, covering her mouth. "That poor man!"
Heng Xing nodded solemnly. "It's so sad...but maybe it's for the best? He seemed really unhappy lately."
Vulture looked thoughtful. "I wonder who did this to him..."
Just then, the steward hurried in, looking panicked. "Mistress Vulture! The second young master is asking for you!"
"Me?" Vulture asked, surprised. "Why?"
"I don't know!" The steward wrung his hands nervously. "He said he needs your help with something important."
Vulture exchanged a glance with Heng Xing before standing up. "I better go see what he wants..."

Chapter 125: The New Plan
The second young master was pacing back and forth in his study when Vulture entered.
"Ah, there you are!" He said eagerly as she walked inside the room. "Come here quick - I have a job for you!"
Vulture raised an eyebrow curiously before walking over towards him cautiously. "A job? What kind of job?"
The second young master grinned slyly while rubbing his hands together excitedly, explaining everything to her in detail.
"I want you to seduce the first young master and get him addicted to opium! Then once he's dependent on it...we can use that against him later."
Vulture gasped in shock at this request. "What?! That's crazy!"
The second young master waved his hand dismissively, not taking no for an answer though. "Nonsense girlie! Just do what I say and there'll be plenty of rewards waiting for you after it's done."
"But...but how am I supposed to seduce him?" Vulture argued weakly, feeling uncomfortable with the idea already.
"Oh don't worry about that part - leave it all up to me." The second young master chuckled evilly. "I've got some special 'concoctions' prepared just for this occasion..."
Vulture gulped nervously as she realized there was no way out of this situation now. She would have to go along with his plan even if she didn't like it.
"Alright...I'll do it," Vulture said softly, resigned to her fate.
"Excellent!" The second young master clapped his hands together joyfully before handing over a small bottle containing some strange-looking liquid inside of it. "Here's your first dose - make sure he drinks every last drop!"
Vulture took the bottle hesitantly and examined its contents carefully under the dim lighting in the study room.
"What is this stuff?" She asked warily while holding onto it tightly against her chest with both hands.
"Just trust me." The second young master winked at her mischievously. "You'll see soon enough..."
**
After leaving the second young master's study, Vulture hurried back to her own room where Heng Xing was waiting patiently for an update on why she had been summoned there earlier today.
"What did he want?" Heng Xing asked curiously as soon as Vulgarity walked inside their shared bedroom together again.
Vulgarity sighed heavily and sat down on the bed next to him before answering dejectedly, "He wants me...to seduce the first young master."
Heng Xing's eyes widened in surprise. "What?! Why would he ask you to do something like that?"
"He said if I make the first young master addicted to opium then we can use it against him later somehow..." Vulture explained sadly while holding up the small bottle containing some strange-looking liquid inside of it for Heng Xing to see.
Heng Xing frowned deeply at this news, feeling concerned about her safety now. "That's a dangerous task though! Are you sure you want to go through with it?"
Vulgarity shrugged helplessly, knowing she didn't really have much choice in the matter anymore though. "What other option do I have? The second young master won't take no for an answer..."
Heng Xing sighed sadly and wrapped his arms around Vulgarity protectively before whispering softly into her ear reassuringly, "I know...but if things get too bad just let me know okay? I'll be here waiting to help you out."
Vulgarity nodded gratefully against Heng Xing's chest while clutching onto that little bottle tightly once more - dreading what was about to come next...
